SUMMARY:Roadmap to Liberation
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE WILL BE EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR FROM 6-7 PM FOR
  8 WEEKS.\nROADmap LITE is an intensive virtual program designed to guide 
 participants through the transformative five-pillar framework. Developed b
 y Rev. angel in conjunction with her book\, Radical Dharma: Talking Race\
 , Love\, and Liberation\, this framework integrates personal transformatio
 n towards collective liberation. The program emphasizes metabolizing the i
 mpact of racialization on bodies of all races\, colors\, and ethnicities. 
 Participants will gain tools\, practices\, and community support to disman
 tle racial biases\, reduce feelings of alienation\, and foster a sense of 
 belonging and solidarity.\n\nLearning Objectives\nParticipants will:\n\n\n
  	\nDevelop self-awareness to identify and dismantle internalized racial b
 iases.\n\n 	\nGain skills to navigate challenging conversations and situat
 ions with empathy and resilience.\n\n 	\nFoster inclusive and equitable en
 vironments in their personal and professional spheres.\n\n 	\nApply practi
 cal tools and frameworks to address racial and social justice issues.\n\n 
 	\nBuild a supportive community to sustain ongoing personal and collective
  transformation.\n\n\nProgram Components\nThe program consists of five wee
 kly sessions\, each focusing on a different pillar of the framework\, and 
 additional support activities. Each week features recorded video content f
 rom leaders and experts on the topic\, complemented by facilitated discuss
 ions. Participants will also have access to the additional program feature
 s listed below\, including small group coaching\, a learning portal\, virt
 ual workbooks\, and more. Here’s what participants can generally expect 
 each week\, activities subject to change:\nAugust 21: Introductory Sessio
 n\n\n\n 	\nPurpose: Provide technical assistance\, platform support\, and 
 answer initial questions.\n\n 	\nWhat to Expect: Guidance on using the vir
 tual learning portal and tools\, plus a Q&amp\;A session.\n\n\nAugust 28: 
 Orientation\n\n\n 	\nPurpose: Introduce participants to the program struct
 ure\, goals\, and community.\n\n 	\nWhat to Expect: Overview of the curric
 ulum\, expectations\, and an introduction to fellow participants and facil
 itators.\n\n\nSeptember 4: Session 1 - Contemplative Approach\n\n\n 	\nFoc
 us: Assessing current realities and creating conditions for change.\n\n 	\
 nOutcome: Participants will begin to develop a deeper understanding of the
 ir internal landscapes and the changes needed for personal and collective 
 growth.\n\n\nSeptember 11: Session 2 - Embodied Practice\n\n\n 	\nFocus: I
 dentifying and replacing unskillful habits with prosocial behaviors.\n\n 	
 \nOutcome: Participants will learn to recognize and replace harmful habits
  with positive\, community-oriented actions.\n\n\nSeptember 18: Session 3 
 - Prophetic Praxis\n\n\n 	\nFocus: Truth-telling and “re-wholing” misa
 lignment to develop deep personal integrity.\n\n 	\nOutcome: Participants 
 will cultivate honesty and integrity\, aligning their actions with their v
 alues.\n\n\nSeptember 25: Session 4 - Liberatory Path\n\n\n 	\nFocus: Incl
 uding perspectives usually avoided and broadening possibilities.\n\n 	\nOu
 tcome: Participants will learn to incorporate diverse viewpoints and expan
 d their understanding of community and liberation to support finding a per
 sonal and collective ways forward.\n\n\nOctober 2: Session 5 - Collective 
 Process\n\n\n 	\nFocus: Working coherently within oneself and with others.
 \n\n 	\nOutcome: Participants will enhance their ability to work effective
 ly within groups\, fostering cohesive and supportive communities.\n\n\nOct
 ober 9: Closing\n\n\n 	\nPurpose: Reflect on the journey\, celebrate accom
 plishments\, and plan for future integration.\n\n 	\nWhat to Expect: Final
  reflections\, sharing of experiences\, and strategies for sustaining the 
 practices and learnings.\n\n\nAdditional Program Features\n\n 	\nDynamic V

 into daily life and track progress.\n\n 	\nAssessment &amp\; Accountabilit
 y: Tools for assessing retention\, integrating feedback\, and evaluating g
 rowth.\n\n 	\nCertificate of Completion: Recognition of participants’ co
 mmitment and achievements.\n\n\nParticipants will leave the program not on
 ly with a solid framework and practical skills but also with a heightened 
 awareness and capacity to confront and dismantle ingrained biases\, ultima
 tely contributing to more inclusive and equitable environments in their co
 mmunities and workplaces.
