DESCRIPTION:Periphery Wellness Group (PWG) is dedicated to offering wellnes
 s and mindfulness strategies\, modalities\, and education to historically 
 marginalized communities. By empowering individuals with tools and knowled
 ge\, PWG aims to help these communities enhance their social capacity and 
 improve the quality of life for individuals\, families\, and various commu
 nity groups. Through a holistic approach\, PWG addresses the unique needs 
 and challenges faced by marginalized populations\, promoting self-awarenes
 s\, resilience\, and collective empowerment. By fostering a culture of wel
 lness and mindfulness\, PWG strives to create positive and sustainable cha
 nge within these communities\, ultimately promoting greater equity\, well-
 being\, and social capacity.\n\nWellness and Mindfulness\n\nSessions will 
 be offered multiple times throughout the year.\n\nSocial Wellness\nPeriphe
 ry Circle\, also referred to as dialogue or healing circles\, are adaptabl
 e based on identified needs. They serve various purposes\, including rest
 orative justice for addressing wrongdoing\, discussing specific issues su
 ch as equity\, or engaging in community problem-solving. Each circle typic
 ally lasts between 60 to 180 minutes\, providing a structured yet flexibl
 e platform for open dialogue\, reflection\, and collaboration within the 
 community.
