DESCRIPTION:You will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleedin
 g and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three
  quick techniques. Take the STOP THE BLEED® training course and become em
 powered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happe
 ns.\n\nNarcan/Naloxone\, used for overdose prevention. Overdoses can occur
  unintentionally with prescription medication and can affect all ages and 
 populations\, so it is vital to have a kit on hand and to know how to use 
 it. PVHMC's Emergency Department offers Narcan for free\, no questions ask
 ed\, 24/7.\n\nHands-only CPR involves pushing hard and fast on the center
  of the victim's chest. The purpose of hands-only CPR is to get blood pump
 ing through the victim's body until paramedics arrive on the scene and per
 form more advanced life support.
