Narcan/Naloxone, used for overdose prevention. Overdoses can occur unintentionally with prescription medication and can affect all ages and populations, so it is vital to have a kit on hand and to know how to use it. PVHMC’s Emergency Department offers Narcan for free, no questions asked, 24/7.

Hands-only CPR involves pushing hard and fast on the center of the victim’s chest. The purpose of hands-only CPR is to get blood pumping through the victim’s body until paramedics arrive on the scene and perform more advanced life support.
