Program Overview

ROADmap LITE is an intensive five-part virtual program designed to guide participants through the transformative five-pillar framework. Developed by Rev. angel in conjunction with her book, Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love, and Liberation, this framework integrates personal transformation towards collective liberation. The program emphasizes metabolizing the impact of racialization on bodies of all races, colors, and ethnicities. Participants will gain tools, practices, and community support to dismantle racial biases, reduce feelings of alienation, and foster a sense of belonging and solidarity.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  • Develop self-awareness to identify and dismantle internalized racial biases.

  • Gain skills to navigate challenging conversations and situations with empathy and resilience.

  • Foster inclusive and equitable environments in their personal and professional spheres.

  • Apply practical tools and frameworks to address racial and social justice issues.

  • Build a supportive community to sustain ongoing personal and collective transformation.

Program Components

The program consists of 8 weekly sessions, each focusing on a different pillar of the framework, and additional support activities. Each week features recorded video content from leaders and experts on the topic, complemented by facilitated discussions. Participants will also have access to the additional program features listed below, including small group coaching, a learning portal, virtual workbooks, and more. Here’s what participants can generally expect each week, activities subject to change:

August 21st: Introductory Session

  • Purpose: Provide technical assistance, platform support, and answer initial questions.

  • What to Expect: Guidance on using the virtual learning portal and tools, plus a Q&A session.

August 28th: Orientation

  • Purpose: Introduce participants to the program structure, goals, and community.

  • What to Expect: Overview of the curriculum, expectations, and an introduction to fellow participants and facilitators.

September 4th: Session 1 – Contemplative Approach

  • Focus: Assessing current realities and creating conditions for change.

  • Outcome: Participants will begin to develop a deeper understanding of their internal landscapes and the changes needed for personal and collective growth.

September 11th: Session 2 – Embodied Practice

  • Focus: Identifying and replacing unskillful habits with prosocial behaviors.

  • Outcome: Participants will learn to recognize and replace harmful habits with positive, community-oriented actions.

September 18th: Session 3 – Prophetic Praxis

  • Focus: Truth-telling and “re-wholing” misalignment to develop deep personal integrity.

  • Outcome: Participants will cultivate honesty and integrity, aligning their actions with their values.

September 25th: Session 4 – Liberatory Path

  • Focus: Including perspectives usually avoided and broadening possibilities.

  • Outcome: Participants will learn to incorporate diverse viewpoints and expand their understanding of community and liberation to support finding a personal and collective ways forward.

October 2nd: Session 5 – Collective Process

  • Focus: Working coherently within oneself and with others.

  • Outcome: Participants will enhance their ability to work effectively within groups, fostering cohesive and supportive communities.

October 9th: Closing

  • Purpose: Reflect on the journey, celebrate accomplishments, and plan for future integration.

  • What to Expect: Final reflections, sharing of experiences, and strategies for sustaining the practices and learnings.

  • Dynamic Video Content: Engaging video lectures from Rev. angel and guest faculty for each pillar.

  • Small Group Coaching: Live group coaching sessions with pOintOne Coaches to support integration and address individual challenges.

  • Learning Portal: Access to a collaborative online platform for curriculum materials and peer-to-peer engagement.

  • Virtual Workbook & Logs: Fillable workbooks and practice logs to integrate learnings into daily life and track progress.

  • Assessment & Accountability: Tools for assessing retention, integrating feedback, and evaluating growth.

  • Certificate of Completion: Recognition of participants’ commitment and achievements.

Participants will leave the program not only with a solid framework and practical skills but also with a heightened awareness and capacity to confront and dismantle ingrained biases, ultimately contributing to more inclusive and equitable environments in their communities and workplaces.

Nykké is an MNDFL, Chopra, & eCPR certified sr. instructor that espouses rest, innovation, imagination, joy & service. Nykké’s service background seeds collaboration with communal, collective, & organizational leadership to design + nurture people-centric experiences.

Nykké is XC OG, and has been building alongside Rev Angel for many years. As the anchor of all things Radical Dharma, Nykké has an eye toward XC’s vision + the praxis of our movement-building work.
